About Organization

KAALO Aid and Development (KAALO) is a community-based non-profit, humanitarian and development organization with its headquarters located in Garowe, Puntland in Somalia. The organization was established in March 1991 just after the collapse of the Somali central government. The organization has been in existence for 33 years with a successful record in implementing Hundreds of programs and projects in both the emergency and the development sector in 9 regions of Puntland.

KAALO is currently undertaking humanitarian Assistance and Resilience building project in two districts in Mudug Region: Jariban and Galkaio. The project is funded by FCDO through BRCiS consortium.

Therefore, KAALO is looking for a qualified Contractor, with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work to submit their offers against the Drilling Borehole in Horogle Village, Galkaio, Mudug Region

1. The Payment modality for this contract will be:
2. 90% of Contract Value will be paid upon drilling and reaching reliable underground water deposit (No Water, No Payment) as per Geological and hydrological Survey report (Find it from Tender Docs)
3. The Contracting Authority will retain 10% of Total Contract Value, which will be paid after 2 Month of the activity completion

Tender Procedures and Instruction

1. Bid Application documents with detailed specifications and conditions are available and downloadable this link (Download).
2. Completed Bid documents shall be returned and deposited in the tender box provided at the entrance of the office.
3. Any tender document not deposited in the tender box shall be disqualified.
4. Bidder should sign a tender registration form which will indicate the date bids were deposited to the tender box.
5. Partial Documents will not be accepted.
6. Tender envelopes should be sealed with reference number and stamped.
7. All bid documents should be written in English.

1. Please do not edit, convert, or modify the tender document. It should be filled in by hand.

THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS ARE:

1. Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address
2. Filled Quotation price in the provided Request for Proposal
3. Valid Registration certificates and Tax clearance
4. Bank statement for last three month
5. Evidence (Contracts) of company operation in Puntland for at least three (3) years, with at least Four (4) successful water drilling and development project in Puntland.
6. Detailed workplan showing delivery and lead time.
7. CV for the company Site Engineer and the CV of the manager minimum experience of 5 years.
8. A falsification or Misrepresentation of documents and information will result an automatic disqualification.

Interested Contractors with having sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work are here by invited to submit their bids in a sealed envelope clearly marked with tender Name and location above and be dropped at the tender box located at KAALO, Cabdi Yare Geelaaye Road (Ex-Spegheti House Road), Second Floor, Infront of Meeting Hall, KAALO Office Garowe – Puntland. The deadline for submitting bids is 19^th Nov – 18^th Dec 2024 at 03:00PM and any tender or documents received later than this date and time will not be accepted.
