About Organization

KAALO Aid and Development (KAALO) is a community-based non-profit, humanitarian and development organization with its headquarters located in Garowe, Puntland in Somalia. The organization was established in March 1991 just after the collapse of the Somali central government. The organization has been in existence for 35 years with a successful record in implementing Hundreds of programs and projects in both the emergency and the development sector in 9 regions of Puntland.

KAALO is currently undertaking intervention in Galkaio and Garowe District, program title is Advancing Adaptation through Resilient mobility and Natural capital (AARAN) and funded by FCDO through BRCiS consortium.

Therefore, KAALO is looking for a qualified Contractor, with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work to submit their offers against the following;

• Construction new Elevated water tank- 50m3 and Piping network in Horogle village, Galkaio District
• Construction Fence Chainlink for 3 farms and Pipeline network in Cooperative Farms – Horogle Neighborhood

Tender Procedures and Instruction

1. Bid Application documents with detailed specifications and conditions are available and downloadable from this link (Download).
2. Completed Bid documents shall be returned and deposited in the tender box provided at the entrance of the office.
3. Any tender document not deposited in the tender box shall be disqualified.
4. Bidder should sign a tender registration form which will indicate the date bids were deposited to the tender box.
5. Partial Documents will not be accepted.
6. All bid documents should be written in English.
7. Tender envelope should be sealed with reference number and stamped.

1. Please do not edit, convert, or modify the tender document. It should be filled in by hand.

THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS ARE:

1. Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address
2. Filled Quotation price in the provided Request for Proposal
3. Valid Registration certificates and Tax clearance
4. Bank statement for last three month
5. Evidence of Past Experience in a similar work (experience certificates/Contract letters etc.)
6. Detailed workplan showing delivery and lead time.
7. CV for the company Site Engineer and the CV of the manager minimum experience of 5 years.
8. A falsification or Misrepresentation of documents and information will result an automatic disqualification.

Interested Contractors with having sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work are here by invited to submit their bids in a sealed envelope clearly marked with tender Name and location above and be dropped at the tender box located at KAALO, Cabdi Yare Geelaaye Road (Ex-Spegheti House Road), Second Floor, Infront of Meeting Hall, KAALO Office Garowe – Puntland. The deadline for submitting bids is 16^th – 29^th July 2026 at 04:00PM and any tender or documents received later than this date and time will not be accepted.
